How Can I Make $1000 a Post on Steemit?

Hello everyone, thank you for reading this post. I am new on @steemit and trying to figure out if posting on this site is worth the many hours it takes to write a good piece of content or story.

I have tried to re engineer how larger Steemit profiles are making serious money on this network. Would love if you could add to this article your ideas and observations.

So far, this is all that I think I know about how to get to $1000 a post on Steemit.com.

1. Choose a popular topic like travel, food and videos.

2. Fund your own Steemit account with at least $500 USD Fiat.

3. Use that Steem money or power to attract minnows or newbs on this network hoping they will like, comment, ,resteem or give you an upvote with money.

4. Post 2 - 4 times a day interesting content that people may or may not even read.

5. Don't buy a promoted post, as this is a waste of your time and money UNLESS someone knows how to properly use this to boost your views and upvotes?

6. Subscribe to the countless bots and hope their upvote will help get your posts seen by more people.

7. Tag very popular Steemians on the network and hope they send some love back.

8. Keep posting great content and hope that the algorithm will reward you with more views, upvotes and followers.

These items could be totally off, but this is what I have witnessed so far. I have even seen other accounts that make a few $100 per post upvote their own posts from another account. Not sure if this is even "legal" or not.

I would LOVE to write funny and interesting posts...then get to have great insightful conversations with the Steem community....and make a good living at it.

There are so many videos, courses and posts sharing the "secrets" to making a living with Steem, which do you prefer? or suggest? or better, actually took the course and are now currently making some real money blogging in this community?

I am currently testing the SEO or search engine optimization value of blogging on Steemit and will report back. My day job is creating SEO web designs for clients all over the country. I also teach small businesses owners how to do their own SEO and Internet Marketing.
