WorldStarHipHop is not the world's most impressive site, but it is a modern day cultural icon and it is still extremely popular among youth and young adults. Fully established, WorldStar is not new or cutting edge-- it has been around since 2005. Steemit on the other hand is still growing and innovating.

Steemit and WorldStar are vastly different sites in terms of content and focus, and comparing them is a bit like comparing apples and oranges-- but what we can compare is their popularity. This is useful because it gives us an idea of how an established popular site (like WorldStar) has already been surpassed as we quietly watch the steemit revolution take hold.

Steemit's global reach can't be predicted, but it will continue to grow and reach further.
