Attention to all Minnows! Please read.
It's time for Minnows to realize that the chance of getting a whale to vote for you is almost next to none!(not entirely but pretty damn hard if you ask me) So what we need to do is start voting for each other's post. I am not saying that you should vote for just "anything" but rather look for Minnows with lower steem powers that has good content and vote for them instead!
I hate to see Minnows that has good posts and still make pennies because most Minnows think they need to vote for a whale in order to gain steem power. Whales don't need your help, only we can help each other! Whales can literally just take a picture of a piece of poop and post it and vote for themselves and get paid big! How is this even fair???? I hate to sound like I am whining but this is a reality that needs to be addressed in the Steemit community.

My problem is that my vote power has diminished to a pathetic <0.01, back to pre HF19 situation. Sure I'll vote, but as it doesn't count for much... I feel rules need to be tweaked somewhat.
I totally agree! I saw this guy (I won't mention the name) made a post about getting hooker and got paid hundreds..this is when you know something is not right!

the system is flawed big time! What makes steemit great is the incentive to provide good content through participation. But what happens when people loses the incentive to participate? Minnows can spend an hour on a post and literally get pay pennies. I have seen whales posting things that is just plain inappropriate and get paid big.
I agree with you, and it annoys me as well.
The way it is setup , it is really does not align with the purpose of steemit of awarding good content. I've seen whales literally just post about getting hookers showing a girl bending over and brags about it..the post got hundreds!
I know, have seen similar posts also, some not only upvoting their post, but their comments as well.
@themvlog you are right...by the way...when someone stops being a minnows and becomes a whale? is there any other middle ranks? where can I find the ranking on Steemit different levels of hierarcy?
Middle rank is call the "dolphin" I think you need to have something like 5000 steem power to be a dolphin..don't quote me on that...not entirely sure because the rules are constantly changing..
i think one thing we forget to admit as minnows is that, they helped themselves up there so and we are of no benefit to them,let us learn to start small together and go great instead of waiting for the great ones to come look for us.
