Venezuela President Maduro to Issue 5.9 Billion in oil-backed cryptocurrency

I just read two pretty interesting articles today...
The first one is from Reuters and the second one is from Bitcoin.com mag and they both are saying that Nicolas Maduro Ordered the Issue of 100M Petros, Venezuela’s Oil-Backed Cryptocurrency.
This is huge news that will change the cryptocurrency landscape as we see it.
Will Venezuela be the first country with their own cryptocurrency - PETRO
or will Russia beat them to the punch with their CryptoRuble?
