The more SP you have the more you get from being a curator. Inversting in SP means you are wasting all the dollars you would normally get NOW by investing in a long term bigger profit. The only advice I can give is don't turn your STEEM dollars ot STEEM POWER to plain STEEM, unless you really need to convert it to BITCOINS.
What about selling them on the market?
3.75SBD are worth around 17.5STEEM.
Also, you can't sell STEEM POWER, it's locked to your account for at least 13 weeks.
I just found someone who takes them and sends their current value in USD to my Paypal. Easiest transition ever.
I know about the delay, you can still sell SP eventually as STEEM.
