RE: What is Steemit, Inc Doing???

in #steemit7 years ago

I agree there could be some changes with benefits on rewards. But why should someone that joins today, that invested nothing, have the same voting power as someone who has been here. It is like stock shares, how much you hold is your voting power.

Plus your from Canada, if a war broke out in your country who do you think would be the first to help you? The United States. So I guess Canada has failed.

Your last paragraph is out in left field, but whatever.

As for your first paragraph, it just points out how flawed Steemit is. If Oprah owned half of Steemit, would you want all the Hot and Trending posts to be about Women's issues, and make-overs? What Steemit should of done is made investment determine a share of overall revenue from ads or whatever. What will draw more people to Steemit and make it more valuable is CONTENT. On YouTube it is quite possible for some noob to make a video that gets a million hits and the revenue that comes with it, but I doubt that could happen on Steemit, at least not without sucking up to some whales (most of which are just voting from themselves).

Sounds like you just need to stick to YouTube. You don't need to suck up to anyone there & you could make a penny for a video.
