On steemit, the title you choose for your post really plays a big part, but here is the trick.Read carefully.

First let's face it.
Steemit has alot of of articles posted everyday, with these thousands of posts that are submitted on to the platform, there is a slim chance your post is noticed.
This however has some exceptions, but more on that later.
Whichever tag you use, interestingly the most performing tags like life, steemit are the tags with the most number of posts.
Each of us here on this platform has a goal, these goals may vary but to my observation most people on the platform want to interact and earn some steem and call it a day.
Putting another thing into consideration, some people are already established here, the whales, the people with amazing content.

What are the chances of a good number of people reading your post?

The truth is, the chances are so slim but we should maximize on those slim windows of opportunities.
So with the exceptions of being on trending or hot page because of a few reasons.
Your posts are almost burried somewhere.
What happens when someone lands on your frequently used tag and they can't even notice your post?
Mind your titles

Yes your titles.
What you want to do here is to write an appetizing title which is so irresitable to the people who are scrolling through.
Give them a reason to open your article
They may read through it or not, but atleast they opened your article.
Be sure to use a click bait most times.
Again you shouldn't mislead people with your titles
Writing a title that is completely different from the content in your post makes people lose trust in you.
They will hate you for wasting their time in checking out some crap they have no interest in.

So what you really want to do is to add a little creativity in your titles.
use some interesting phrases.
Create curiosity(Don't reveal everything in your title, otherwise most people will have no interest in your long strings of words.)
Add some emotions in your titles.
Make your first picture interesting.
Atleast don't make a typo in your titles, please.

You know it's all about creativity, steemit gives us freedom to do just about everything with our creativity, so here you can always make it count

Remember, first impressions matter, so are your article titles.
