Hi all Thank you for your warm welcome to steemit - This Weekends Job
Hi all Thank you for your warm welcome to steemit.
I have thought long and hard about how to showcase what we do and also supply value to the steemit community, so the decision I have come to is to pick a job we are working on give you a rundown of what the client has asked for and report as the job progresses Inc. photos and client feedback when possible.
I will also start to put together blogs on new Av technology’s that we intend to invest in and why this technology will make our end product better.
e.g. We are in talks with the manufacturers of a DiGiCo S21 Sound Desk we are looking to get on demo to test and we will post our review here
This Weekends Job......
So we have a job going out tomorrow, the client is a shopping centre about 30 miles away from London. And they are hosting a talent show within there venue as part of a marketing campaign and they have asked us to put together a small stage with lighting, sound and play back (audio track) for singers, dances, and any other variety acts they may have.
Here is the kit list I have put together for this job:
Staging
6 x 3 meters stage
cube trussing surround
branding along the bottom of the stage
Lighting
X6 Led batons
X4 Profiles (Spot Lights) for stage wash
x1 DMX Controller (Lighting Desk)
Sound
3k PA system with subs (for up to 600 people)
x2 Small onstage speakers (for fold back)
16 channel sound desk
x1 SFX Audio Play Back System
x2 DPA microphone Head Sets
x2 Hand Held Microphones
Lots Off cabling and power distribution
This job has today been specked and ready for transport in the morning:
I estimate this job will take 4 hours with 4 crew to set up witch will happen tomorrow, we will put 2 technicians on the 3 day event along with the organiser, around 2 to 3 hours to derig and load out. My only concern with this job is how we will get power to it as it will be in a wide open public space in the shopping centre so this may require long cable runs and will also need to be made safe to the public, we have over compensated with cable so we hope we will be fine
karl. @mckenzie259 will be on site tomorrow and will post us some photos witch I will add my edits and Resteem, any question or comments do post below
Thanks Again
