What we should learn about Steemit ?

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Steemit is being social media giant and we can say it for sure looking at it's popularity in a country like Nepal where even cryptocurrencies are banned. But the craze of steemit in Nepal is a bit different than in other countries. The main and the only difference is that we work here for money. Most of the people I saw in this community (nepali) are only and only here for money. They want to make fast money and they have found a way to get that. It is using bots and boosters in steemit. It maybe giving them decent money but I ask all of my fellow steemians please don't take steemit like this. We all have a lot of room to grow, we have a lot of quality to increase and we have the chance to be PewDiePie of steemit.

What must steemians do ?

  • It's our humble request, please spend your time in steemit. Don't just post some crap and use bots to get upvotes it may work for you right now but remember all those bots will crash someday. An ecosystem can't work like this always. Please don't miss the opportunities for being new PewDiePie or new Ryan Higa. We can't say you will succeed but please try. Try to avoid those bots. We were compelled to use bots because steemit ecosystem is already too unhealthy that it is almost impossible to get into focus without using bots.

The use of bots is in less focus because big steemians don't know a lot about it and most of the newbies are using it. We will make sure we won't use those bot when we will start to get some focus without bots. We are contacting bigger steemians ( eg @taskmaster4450 ) to take a close look on it.

  • Please do not use upvote to upvote or follow to follow. This system is hugely done in Youtube and everyone doing this is getting a pain in their ash because they will end up with a huge number of follwer but very few who are of their field. For example you did subscribe to subscribe and end up having 1000 subscriber and post about science but only 50 of them like science and you will leave youtube in disappointment.

  • We need a variety of content. Where are those Nepali posting about science, art, music, cryptocurrency and many more. Almost all of the Nepali steemians are those who are posting about Nepal, some ordinary photo's taken from their phone. We have only seen some meme challenge posted by an Nepali. It may be because it's only been few days we are here but most of them are not too more than ordinary.

  • We Nepali don't have a habit of reading others posts. We just read the posts when we know it will give us profit or else we won't read. This is the habit which is letting us down, always ! Your quality will increase dramatically if you read others post. But no! why do we Nepali even bother reading others post because reading others posts won't give us money and all we care is money. :( :(

This one is the most important, Please read !

The most important thing is steemit is not only for money. Make this mindset, even if you won't get any money from your post but you will be making your power growing on steemit (not steempower). You will have more foreign friends who are sure to grow and be big steemians in future. The mindset of taking steemit as bitcoin faucets or some PTC sites is dangerous. Please, even if you joined here because of the suggestion of some money making gurus change your mindset and if you are someone who reads only IMPORTANT noted subject please read everything !

Many of the fellow steemians were asking me a question, how will @teamnepal help Nepali steemians always, you won't be able to give money always?
The clear answer to this question is that we are not here to give you free money and all the SBD we gave and are giving to you is for promotion. We want every Nepali to join @teamnepal. We will provide you informations, do healthy competition among Nepali steemians and we will reward the winner. We will always work for making steemit better in Nepal. We will work to increase your quality and not give you free money !

Please take part in our competition and try to win:

wise words!
long-term success is a question of the builded community. i am not a enemy of the bots, they are just a kapitalism part. to realy rise the visibility of a post, you have to put a lot of sbd into them, but the returns are not guaranted and swings up and down al the time. to build up a circle of friends and active followers, give you a much better state with continue growth.
my sugestions to newbes is: keep continued in contact with other steemians, post good content of intresting themes and at last the most important thing is: MENETI (hold on)

Yes consistency is the key to success !

Wow, this is really spot on. Steemit is so much more then just to make a quick buck. We as a community have to take care of this amazing gift we have been given.
I hope you will be able to create a great community in which you can help each other grow!

If you people support like this it is not to far !

Good advice @teamnepal! I couldn't agree more with the fact that a lot of Steemians aren't working to be successful but working to make money.

I like your desire to bring good Steeming to Nepal. Looking forward to your posts.

@carbernet I don't think you know a huge community of steemians are working here only and only for money. They are using bots to make money and post nothing more than crap just to use bots vote !
Thank You for your support and keep on supporting us !

Thank You for your support !

Good to see you writing posts. I hope you will take part in our competition !

Next time sure it's my honor
