Steemit marketing ideas [ Future solutions ]

When it comes to marketing Steemit I would like to see how it can provide solutions to solve problems that we face daily as a global community.

Every day, there seems to be an increasing divide growing within and between communities and I believe Steemit and associated developments can offer opportunities to close some of the gaps.

Some of the issues in brief:

Trust:

Trust is obviously important in general but there is a growing need for it in order to reorder and stabilise a volatile world.

Media: with increasing distrust and doubt over traditional media channels, many turned to social media for a better perspective. The problem being that this too is becoming increasingly easy to subvert, hijack and corrupt. The blockchain and potentially Steemit due to its current position can offer traceability, responsibility and accountability back into the arena.

Personal trust: I know many do not want to share themselves here but perhaps in the future, we can actually get to a point where we can trust each other enough to do so. Of course, many steps lay in between.

Wealth divide:

Rent-seekers: Steemit and the blockchain offer a myriad ways to cut out middlemen organisations, banks and the many hidden administration costs.

Spread: It gives opportunities to spread experiences and wealth across a much larger pool and include those that may not have access to traditional channels due to their location or social standing etc.

Charity: This is possibly the best channel to get fast-response funding to the places that need it the most. There are many possibilities in this area.

Political:

Activation: With social media playing an increasing role in political activation but easy to subvert, the blockchain can provide the consistency needed and places like Steemit offer more verifiable channels.

Accountability: With seemingly increasing craziness of political parties, members and their claims, there is a need for verified and spreadable information that offers a complete view developed independently. Steemit could offer decentralised news that can undergo review and adjustment by a global team. 

Terrorism: There is a need for understanding what is going on without getting drawn into any particular agenda. To do this, it takes a lot of open conversation that is not taking place in the general space now. Steemit, with trust and sensitivity, could allow discussions between all involved.

Education:

Thinking: with a decrease in critical thinking and an increase in narrow views, Steemit can become more of an education platform. The kind of thing that the ancient Greeks did except at a global level with the real world view of improvement, not winning an argument. Again trust.

Experts: There are many experts here already and in the future it may be possible for disadvantaged and curious students to follow and actually engage with them across the world. Bring intelligence to the mainstream.

Courses: The blockchain and Steemit could become true educational institutions where full courses in many things can be offered with grading and progress tracked. This could be combined with campuses to offer hybrid training and experience to widen the scope, reach and impact of education.

Monetisation:

Of course, all of these things can be monetized in numerous ways that range from micro payments to massive infrastructure investment amounts. My aim in life is to attempt to create a more enjoyable world for us all rather than maximise wealth at the expense of others. This doesn't mean that making money is a negative, it is a tool to use in the quest. Steemit and of course the blockchain has the potential to play a huge role in creating a more trustworthy, creative, valuable and equitable world for us all.

These are just a couple if ideas and I will add more as the days pass by. I hope that there is some value here or it inspires some future value for us as a community.
