In many market corrections and all bear markets investors suffer heightened volatility in their equity portfolios. Risk, generally associated with variability in returns could manifest as a permanent loss of capital if left unchecked.
Once decided what you want to hold, take a look at any inadvertent bets that might be lurking in your portfolio. One easy fix is to cut all holding under 2% in your portfolio. Also, check for companies which have failed to deliver earnings growth, they may continue to disappoint. Clean up; don’t be emotional about what you own.
