Why Mark Zuckerberg Wears 1 Grey Shirt? Steemians We Can Build Our Version Of The Internet!!!

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

Without having read any material, i may have fully understood why Mark Zuckerberg may wear the same grey shirt everyday. Funnily too, not only Mark Zuckerberg, many other billionaires and perhaps @dan and the many others on the path to steem success; have gone through this path. I tend to see it more a journey in the path of finding one's self.

A quick look at Mark Zuckerberg's wardrobe will instantly tell you of Mark Zuckerberg! Can this be a stunt with underlying branding?:

I certainly won't be surprised if @ned or @dantheman tread this path within their journey to the summit. I mean, i heard Eminem say in an interview, that he gets too engrossed in the art of creating his lyrics, that he doesn't get showers or baths, many times!

My dad groomed me, on the path to success, i would say and over the years as i found myself, choices and priorities changed. Now this may not be the right or easy road for everyone but for some; that is the only road.

People will say, "why don't you eat Terry and i go because "starvation is sweet"".

We (MY HOUSEHOLD) were taught to try change; to attempt it; not to throw away pain and forget it; but to divert it into positive use. Thus, when i seat on that chair; before the PC and in full focus; food gets relegated and keeps getting relegated; that the body, wilts, gives in a bit and starving becomes a norm and perhaps a bit sweet!

Sometimes, some pain is sweet! (A massage isn't exactly unpainful but you can't say it isn't sweet!)

Back to where i was trying to drive at:

Before i started to come across places on the internet where Mark Zuckerberg's dress code especially, is being analyzed; i may have understood it; why he may have choose to wear a grey shirt frequently.

Looking at my tiny journey in fashion, lol; even from when i was way younger and amongst my youthful peers; i would like to say, i loved to wear a 'really confirmed designer shirt', you know; that is really expensive; however, shabby-looking and for many reasons! According to me and in my thoughts; I would do so, to keep people in bewildered argument on the quality of my linen, while i shoot for the stars! (Jesus wore some ordinary looking linen but when it came down to it, and at his death, people cast lots to have his garment).

(So basically, like a Rolls Royce, plainly-designed yet sleek and sophisticated).

The point is, only the 'really confirmed people', will know on the spot that my apparently shabby-looking gear was indeed a sophisticated designer; while another group of people, will look down on me for dressing shabbily but in some case that is the entire aim, to have people underrate you!

I want to IDENTIFY with the 'homeless on the street'; to teach the masses of looking 'beyond the superficial' and more intently; to teach them, not to underrate any human regardless of looks.

A human is made up of multiple other virtues; so i was to teach as many as i could, to learn to look at humans, also in light of their potential etc. (Nobody, knows tomorrow; that nobody can be somebody)

I really grew up liking it, when people underrate me! Sometimes, i would wear a really cool outfit but then my shoes will look all raggedy and only if you checked the sole underneath, will you know, that those raggedy-looking shoes were designers or authentic.

Well on the one hand; it is kind of fashion; my kind of fashion; so i really didn't appeal to finding out what type of fashion it is in the world out there!

I find myself sharing traits with many of the influential people i have read about.

Without have read about any of them, during my younger days; i have defined myself and adopted my ways, mentality etc and now that i am older and getting to read more, 'on successful people', i identify that i could be on the right path towards success as i share many things in common with these people.

I did notice that Mark Zuckerberg and some other influential people, seem to dictate their kind of fashion. Well, it comes out as fashion regardless as we are talking clothes here; but perhaps there are other reasons, behind his choices of 'a grey shirt' each time.

I didn't want to read much about this topic, because it high time we start getting feedback from steemians. I believe steemians may have a different take on whatever topic in existence on the internet and i believe forums like this, where we discuss with out views on topics out there, is what will build steemit, into a stand-alone brand.

Steemit has great minds really!

So what is our take on issues out there! Yes, the world as a whole has views on this topic for instance. I have seen some links where this was discussed but how about the steemian's view!

Can the 'Mark Zuckerberg grey shirt thingy', be mere, sheer fashion sense? Perhaps, he dictated his own fashion sense based on his stories and final definition of who he is?

Perhaps he..........

What have the fashion psychologist got to say on this:

Can it be an issue of priorities? (When i was younger, my mum would be screaming, "terry do the chores" but my dad would counter, if he saw i was reading; "let terry read his books")

Can it be that he has relegated fashion amidst the many other things that are of utmostly more pertinence.?

Basically:

Why do you think that successful billionaires, particularly those who own tech companies such as Steve Jobs, stick to wearing the same fashion everyday?

Do you think gender plays a role? Haha, so is it because they are men? Are there successful women who have done the same?

If i adopted similar fashion style, does it mean i am halfway on the path to success or was it the traits of success that leads to new choices of fashion?

Could it just be that Mark Zuckerberg, Alibaba, Anna Wintour, Obama, Ray Dalio, etc; are not ‘into’ fashion?

Could it be that fashion might be distracting for these people? Could fashion or choosing what to wear, be holding us back, from all becoming millionaires?

What does Mark Zuckerberg’s wardrobe says about him?

I saw this blog but i didn't want to read much from it; so as not to influence my post here as i prefer to hear the views of steemians on 'Mark and his grey shirt', but the blog basically saw his fashion choices as having to do with "Choice Minimalism": Making pointless decisions cripples performance.
