The next six or seven days on steemit, i wish we knew how sweet it is!
It is the rehearsal before the show; before steemit starts on its journey to the moon! We will not be left behind and this six or seven days is crucial.
No pressure. We will have fun! It is April but this is a non-April post!
I just feel that recent events on steemit and this most recent events related to HF 17/18, is preparing us to be big players along with steemit itself.
We talk of big players like Facebook etc; why don't we ever talk of Facebookers as big players. All that is happening on steemit grows the human behind the steemian. It can't all be rosey and this is not April fool!
First, the no posting limit, hoping it has taken effect is a huge positive. So let's feel free for these next six or seven days especially. How about using it to find ourselves back!
Let's create an illusion here. Let's assume, there will be no potential payout for 7 days, but there is also no posting limit. So for one of the very first times; post away!
Create something that you love and post away!
When there was a 4 post limit, there was a tendency not to create endlessly or reserve some creations for the next day or wait for the right timing for you to post, for fears that your post may come to naught; in terms of upvotes and interaction.
Many times, we tend to favor what the community will like and shape our post in that line thus, partially forgetting ourselves and our very own creativity, in favor of possible upvotes etc.
Now however, we have the luxury of rehearsing! We can take the advantage of the illusion that we are not earning much, in the next seven days, to post away! At least, now we can post like normal for the community but we can have our regular creative fun posts, up and running as well. So feel free; join the meme challenge, the photography challenge, the writing-trail contest, the literature-trails, explore all these other aspects of steemit, even by means of your posts.
Let's call this our own experiment!
In this time, we can get feedback from the steemit community and they may actually love our creativity afterall!
Talking of the 7 day payout period; it looks like:
"awww, it is not favorable. If i post today, then i will have to wait 7 days before my first payout; i will not have liquid steem etc but hahaha, it doesn't work that way."
Infact, it will be more fun after the first 7 days, if we really take advantage of the no posting limit and create and post and post!
Let me explain;
If on day one, you posted at different times of the day and you succeeded in posting 10 times and you did that on each of the next 7 days and endlessly, if we keep posting everyday. On day 8, it will feel like, you are no longer waiting for 24 hours for potential payout!
Basically, on several times during 8th day and in shorter intervals than 24 hours, your payouts will flock in and you will wonder what's happening and it will be awesome but to top the fun; imitate me below on the way whalehood!
Try this:
Let's take advantage of this illusion of not knowing payouts etc to have fun! Create, create, create and post non-stop throughout each day but power-up each post and let's wake up 18 days later and see if we won't all be whales!
There will be many more whales on steemit in a few weeks and i tell you google.com will crash as a result of our precious steemit traffic.
Everything that looks like chaos now, has been all panned out well by our steemit community of great minds to result in genius. So relax, join me and soon we will be steering our whales!
I have one question
Are all the new features from HF 17/18 especially the one related to steem power delegation, opened to regular users or will all require codes. Has this already started? Will there be an adjustment to our wallet interface? Are some of this features for select steemians based on criteria like steem power etc ?
Has the no posting limit taken effect yet?

Also I cannot write many articles per day anyway (maybe 3 to 5 per week, in case week is not especially stressful). So for me things will stay the same as before I guess.
But I am happy for you if the new rules help you to be more successful, my friend. I don't think it works like that. For every single article you have to wait full seven days until you get a payout. Yes, you are able to delegate your voting power.
Yes each post has to wait a full 7 days but if you keep posting day, without missing a day, then will become like 24 hours on day 8 after the first post pays. It work like this though if you only posted on day one. in that case, you have to wait the full seven days. The delegating of steem power, is there going to adjustment to the interface? like i havent seen any change yet!
That's right, now I understand how you meant it.
Concerning to delegate steem power I still didn't check out how it works, but I remind that someone wrote he had already delegated some voting power to another user. So it should work "anyhow". :)
Uhm.... I think with this hf-18, have positive effect. I do not have to hurry in make upvote. I can read in "Slow Mode" and selective to upvote or leave comment. Nice ! :)
Yes, but try this in my post me and you will see the great effects after week when you get used to it!
