It is a universal belief and concurrence that the word 'life' has its antonym to be 'death'. Someone then is wondering and asking, 'How then do we find life in death?' I wonder with you and I answer, 'Finding life in death is a process.'

There are unlimited benefits of the assurance of life in death provided you are willing to follow the process.

When we become dead to carnality (sin, flesh and its works), we become alive in spirituality.

When we become dead to failure (when we do not fail), we become alive in success.

When we become dead to lack, we become alive in lots.

When we become dead to laziness and its consequences, we become alive in hardwork and its rewards.

When we become dead to hatred, we become alive in love.

When we become dead to greediness, we become alive to kindness.

When we become dead to mediocrity, we become alive in excellence.

When we become dead to barrenness, we become alive to fruitfulness.

When we become dead to covetousness, we become alive in satisfaction.

When we become dead to telling lies, we become alive in truthfulness.

When we become dead to pretense, deceit and hypocrisy, we become alive in transparency.

When we become dead to excuses and imperfection, we become alive in taking profitable responsibilities and perfection.

Sadly, many today are partially or totally dead to these virtues and they live and operate in these vices. Carefully substitute the place of virtues for vices and vice versa for self-analysis and tell how your life had all this while look like.

The deadness to virtues as humans is as being dead in reality. Now, ask yourself, 'How long have I been dead to reality and in reality?' Wait, do not be too quick to answer this, ponder carefully on it before you give your answer(s).

Do you not think that the deadness of the past to these virtues and many others is what is still affecting you this new year?

The first month of this year lapses by 11:59PM tonight. Let me ask you, 'What are your goals for 2018? How many have you initiated or completed.'

Trust me, I fully understand that the first month of this year might not suffice for the completion of that task, but the big question that comes to you this time is, HAVE YOU INITIATED THAT TASK SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THIS YEAR? If I am not mistaken, I suppose you are still dead to hardwork and you have chosen to still become alive in laziness.

It is believed that the place with the highest number of virtues and resources is the graveyard. If death comes, do you want to 'store' your virtues in the graveyard as well? Why not be like Dr. Myles Munroe who said he wants to die empty?

Dear reader, rise up! Begin and journey in this new month with deadness to these vices and many others and aliveness in virtues.

I heartily accept to be alive in virtues and dead to vices. How about you?

Happy sunday
