Why people leaves facebook after joining steemit?
We are social being. We cannot live alone. We love to get in touch with other people. After joining Steemit we realize that we can keep in touch with other people here on Steemit.
Facebook is centralized. You can use Facebook for free. But your information and whatever you share on Facbook, that is used to target you to show ads. It is as if you are the product on Facebook. This is a great idea to connect with friends and family, but when you do that on Facebook, you become the product. Your private information can transfer to the company or other people that you do not like. You do not want someone to spy on you 24/7, do you?
When you use Steemit, you are in control. You have the freedom to do whatever you want. And your privacy and personal information are safe. That will not be sold to the third party.
You spend a lot of time on Facebook, but do you earn anything from facebbok for your content? No, you do not. But here on Steemit, you make money from your content and whatever you do, that has a value. You get the benefit for your content. Steemit helps you financially.
