looking to learn (MT GOX)

I still consider myself new and learning about the CRYPTO universe. One big topic I am uneducated on is MT GOX, and I have been hearing this talked about recently. The intent with this post is to reach out to the STEEM community, in attempt to learn more about this or be provided resources where I can do the same.
