An open message to @asshole
Your little script has gotten our attention. For those of us that have been on Steemit for a while, you are a minor annoyance. For those people new to Steemit, a negative experience.
So what do you want to say?
Are you man, with the ability to confront the people you don't like or oppose, to speak freely, or to correct an injustice?
Or are you a script kiddie playing with yourself in mom's basement while you stew over how someone "mistreated" you and that life isn't "fair"?
Speak up, boy. Your script isn't working as some of the Steemers are upvoting everything you flag. Take the opportunity to engage before you are nothing more than an old Steemit in-joke.

I've been here since late July. I have seen two cases in which someone really pissed of the community and either engaged in flagging sabotage or screwed the pooch in terms of garnering flags for a post they made.
No point in naming them...my point is that they made amends and have been doing well here since. Now that I think about it, I can't remember the names anyhow, which is a good thing...who wants to be remembered as an asshole?

Just a gutless fuck playing with himself! A nasty little scumbag that thinks that he's making a name for himself by fucking with other people. What he doesn't know is you need to be careful who you piss off in this life...you never know that it might be someone with the resources to find him and pay a visit!
I think I get what he's after; by driving away new Steemers, he is "punishing" the community.
We had another one like this when I first started. I won't name him b/c he turned things around since.
Well we can try to pop the blister, and we can hope that they end up seeing the value in a more populated platform.

My only downvotes seem to come from this guy, so it doesn't seem to matter. I don't make any money anyway. I've got somebody trying to trace him, I don't know how much luck he'll have. I'll go from there.

I think he might like the attention, and he's getting a lot!
But besides that, he found a nearly harmless exploit that annoys a lot of people. This will have to be fixed: if there's nearly no voting power, these useless flags just have to be hidden.

some folks really cant tell the difference...
Trolls feed on both kinds of attention.
They behave beyond human comprehension.
In my internet life experience I learnt it's best to ignore the troll kind, so it can't feed, lay eggs etc.
I have trolled people before, but it has always been a specific person with whom I have had an argument with, and that won't concede obvious losses. Snark, contemptuous remarks, and the like.
I never saw any purpose in showing my ass to the entire world at once ;>
He was at the airport marching with the Marxist protesting something Trump signed that Obama wrote that he agrees with but hates that Trump did it. lol

it is sad that we are so childish with our flags; I think that every flag should be required to have a post explaining the use of that flag to be valid
Yep, it should be made nearly impossible to use a Bot to Flag anyone.
I also agree with a Comment being required with every Flag.
It's a plague on our house. And it should be fixed as soon as possible.
