I have been asked by a loyal supporter and follower of my work to publish this Blog.
Recently I made a Blog about how I believe now is the perfect time to take STEEMIT to market and this prompted @etcmike to share with me yesterday a draft Blog that he asked me to cast my eye over and publish it on his behalf.

As with any product, taking it to market is all about bringing awareness and educating people of what the product does and what the benefits are.
There is no secret formula to doing this as years of experience tells me that there are only three things to remember, Educate, Educate & Educate..!!
Over the last 7 months I have been sharing on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook those blogs that help educate what STEEMIT is all about and finally after 7 months the message is slowly getting through.

Taking this theme of educating people it is always a good idea to remember that what current users know as a given is alien to anyone who has never experienced the site before.
Always remember the very first time you made your first blog and with this in mind then you can explain in simple step-by-step bite-sized pieces.
Basics
STEEM is a Cryptocurrency that recently turned one year old and is earned by potential customers worldwide through the SteemIt interface.
Over the past year STEEM has established itself as a Global Cryptocurrency mirroring that of STEEMIT as a Global Social Media Platform.
Think of STEEM and STEEMIT as a pair.
One is a Currency the other is a Blogging Tool.
At the time of this post STEEMIT had a userbase of over 140 thousand users worldwide and growing.

Traders on these sites who hold STEEM are also potential customers.

There is a little boy in Japan that would like to have an authentic cowboy hat.
But how does the boy's mom buy a cowboy hat from the Texas store?
In this 30 second UPS video commercial it presents UPS i-parcel as the solution.
What if there is a Globally accepted Currency that is easy for Customers to EARN and EXCHANGE
Bitcoin is one such Cryptocurrency that is global and can be used to sell products around the world.

Yes, it seems to be the time to take Steemit to the world... in a measured and meaningful way, bringing in those content creators we already know are serious about what they do... and inviting the possibility that this will expand their horizons and exposure even further. Been working on a sort of "recruitment letter/post" of my own to take this show on the road in the next few weeks....
