I wanted to share with you a Pie Chart showing the relationship between the total number of Blogs published on Steemit and the Comments these blogs generated.

In order to simplify the chart I have grouped all those comments that have a depth below the Blog of +2 or more.

From going live in March of 2016 there has been a total 457,450 Blogs published on the Blockchain.

For each of these Blogs there is a just over twice as many single comments per Blog and three times as many with a depth of two comments.

Only a small proportion has a depth of more than 2 comments.

In simple terms each Blog represents approximately a quarter of the total chatter in terms of transactions on the Blockchain and represents the vibrancy of the Community.

I hope the above chart helps you to get a feel for the strength and size of the Community considering its creation was little over 12 months ago.
