I posted this a few weeks back and got a little response but not enough to gain traction.
I was wondering if there was more in the UK that would be interested in joining in such an event.
London? Manchester? Leeds? Birmingham? ....open to suggestions.
STEEMIT is a technological Social Media Revolution that has only scratched the surface and once it gains traction will fly.
Let me know if anyone would be interested in such an event and if so their preferred choice of location.

I was just at the Steem Saturday event in Johannesburg (a true success) and I think the secret of success for such an event is getting quality and diverse speakers. Not just Steem speakers. Good luck.
