Great post. This massive influx of new accounts has brought many people who don't really understand how Steemit works. They bring with them ideas from other social platforms that are not relevant here. I love the analogy of the post like nobody is watching. Post shat you want first. Comment on and upvote posts that connect with and interest you then you will build a real group of followers. And remember even if you post makes $0.13, that's 13c more than Facebook will ever pay you.
Thanks Stephen. Yes, sometimes these tactics do have some effect with other networks but as you said, they don't work here. And that's also a great point, even a little money here is much more than you'll make with Facebook, for normal site usage of course.
