STEEM dropped to 0.14 SBD on the internal market

Markets for SBD and STEEM are behaving in an unexpected way.

Today, the price of SBD (intended to be pegged to the value of the USD) reached 16.64 USD on Bittrex. This is so extreme, that the exchange was temporary excluded from the CoinMarketCap.

As a side effect, STEEM dropped to 0.14 SBD on the internal market. Who could ever expected that?

    Many people are happy with this price of SBD, I'm worried. Because it needs to be pegged to USD, if it's not then there are internal problems in the blockchain.
    I think the solution is to add the possibility to transform steem into sbd in order to reduce speculation.
