Saturday 1/28 - A 'Bizarro World' Steemit Talk Podcast Will Be LIVE At 3pm! (cst)
Greetings Steemit!
Since the end of July 2016 - a contingent of Southwest Missouri based Steemians have been cycling in & out of recording sessions, in an effort to bring the @steemittalk podcast to our listeners on a weekly basis. Though the show has now had a couple of changes in personnel along the way - tomorrow's show format will be a little different than that which you've become accustomed to.
The current STP host roster includes the infamous: @sykochica, @winstonwolfe, and @giftedgaia. We started STP with the intention of always doing a 'in room together - studio quality recording' show.. that said the team took a big hit to our intended business model when @sykochica recently moved out of the area, (though we couldn't be happier that she's remoting in via Discord to continue participating in all the Steemit Talk every week) thus leaving Winston & Gifted in-studio together.
Unfortunately Mr. Wolfe will not be available to join the show this week. We considered taking a week off due to the schedule conflict - however discovered a viable solution that will allow us to proceed as planned. Giftedgaia happens to host a couple of different podcasts with a friend that has never been introduced to the SteemitTalk Podcast, or its fans before.
So tomorrow - January 28th - STP will be live at 3pm (cst) for our 26th episode!
Familiar allies @sykochica & @giftedgaia will be hosting - as well as the introduction of our friend & guest host - Mr. 'I made a Steemit account a long time ago but never started blogging' @ryanwelch!
It feels like 'Bizarro World' to have a guest host participate in the Steemit Talk that isn't an active member of the site - however this is somewhat a throwback to our 3rd episode last August, when we had a friend join the show that does not participate in any online social media whatsoever. It was entertaining to host a conversation with someone who knew nothing about the community - in contrast with the host's 'we never stop talking about steemit' mindsets.
Mr. @ryanwelch is familiar with Steemit, yet is not active on the site, so this is a great chance to expose him to the Steemit Community via a live podcast as well as introduce his podcasting talents to the listeners. Expect this episode to be a wider blend of topics both Steemit & Non-Steemit related as the conversation develops.
