Steemit Update [April 12th, 2025] : Steemit Challenge Season 24
Season 24 brings a new phase for the rebranded Steemit Challenge.
First it was the Steemit Engagement Challenge, then it was the Steemit Learning Challenge, and now it is just the Steemit Challenge.
This season we have gone freestyle and opened it up to all-comers.
We invited the community to come up with new ideas to revive interest and boost participation.
Thirty-nine proposals were submitted involving nearly 60 people.
We have now reviewed all the proposals and selected 6 to take part in Season 24.

Please would all the teams selected confirm acceptance in a comment below and include their contact details (Discord / Telegram).
All teams should post their first posts by Sunday, April 20th. Season 24 will then begin on Monday, April 21st, 2025.
Each week teams should post instructions on how people can participate in their Challenge for that week.
Teams should respond to submitted posts within 24 hours.
Posts should be checked for plagiarism and AI use. Checking for club status etc does not need to be included in the comment.
Each week we would like all Teams to make a post announcing the six people who have produced the best responses to the week’s Challenge tasks.
All the weekly winners, as well as the weekly announcement posts, will receive extra prize votes from @steemcurator01.
With the broadening of the scope of the Challenge this season we hope to see a revival in the participation rate.
We have listened to the comments that the Learning Challenges had become too difficult and too technical. The Challenges selected this season we hope will have a much wider appeal and be more accessible to everyone.
Hopefully this approach won’t open the Challenges up to an onslaught of AI produced content.
Some of the teams in particular will need to be on the top of their game to deal with this threat.
We hope everyone will enjoy the new opportunities presented in Season 24 of the Steem Challenge.
