WHY WE TRAGET 1000 STEEMIANS IN UYO, NIGERIA

Why do myself and my team (Diamond) need to raise a hub of no less less than 1000 youths so together we will grow?

Here are few reasons. Uyo is the capital of Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria whose capital is called Abuja.

Uyo is located at the far south of the country which is the Niger Delta region where crude oil is berth. The people of Akwa Ibom state (where Uyo is capital) are very hard working.

Politics is the main stay of the people, sounds funny you would agree but it's the truth, other sources of income are petty business and farming which is not in a large scale. The elites are divided from the others in that they get contracts from the Government if the day.
How? They fund elections so when candidates becaome succesful, naturally they deserve all the juicy contracts and even the not so big contracts too.

Notwithstanding, people still survive in this metropolis and even in the villages too which by the way are not really inclusive know the governments infrastructural plans. The have dmfew schools in the villages but much colleges in the towns, the irony is that people in the village have to work extra hard if they are to send their wards to the Universities.

Public secondary schools (High School ) are free and compulsory, the previous state government which stayed for eight years put that in place. Before then, people didn't even know the amount of money that came in to the state as allocations from the Federal Government.

Things are gradually getting better as young people have now began to raise voices by mobilising in sizes and getting inv involved in politics. Other Young people are diversifying into business, both online and others.

In an atmosphere as this is, it is best to encourage them with Steemit and that is what I am trying to do. I want to be able raise a hub of no less than 1000 youths and together we grow, so help me God.

These are my thoughts on a Saturday morning in Nigeria.
