Steemit Categories - The Weird, The Funny, and The Commonly Misspelled
Today I created a personal Steemit database and gathered data from over 10,000 Steemit posts from the past 5 days. Over the next few days I plan on doing some deeper analysis and potentially building some models to predict payout, all of which I plan on sharing. Today, however, was data collection and review day. I began planning a post for tomorrow on the most popular and most lucrative category choices for Steemit posts, but got distracted by a surprisingly entertaining list of categories. Introduceyourself
Particularly upsetting is all of the 'introduceyourself' posts that got lost in the mix due to typos or weird variations of the tag. This may already be on the roadmap for Steemit, but autofilled categories could be a nice addition, similar to the way that Twitter handles typing out hashtags.

Auto correct could save lives lol...usually I would not say that but here it does lol. Thanks for the help with my father by the way, you didn't have to send that much, I know we hit a major dip and really appreciate the extra help. Your an amazing Steemian my friend, its a true honor to have your friendship and blessing us with the very kind gesture.
autosuggest would be great for tags, as would a save tags feature so you could apply a preset category to your posts easily for future search optimisation
I think that is a great idea, could be very useful. I tend to flow and type very fast and due to that miss a lot of stuff in my articles till after posting it, be nice to get a spellcheck alert of some sort on the fly lol

it just reminded me to use a capital G at the beginning of that sentence, and the "the" in the middle of this one ;) you just need to remember to pause and look before sending.
Actually I totally forgot about grammarly lol. Used to use that but its been awhile.

@steem.engine snapshot of the data looks awesome and hilarious. We humans have such immense capability for communication, yet fail in that objective because of vowel placement.

forgotanniversary and basicallytrash could easily be on the same posts lol. Scrambling to find an anniversary gift, disguising would be 'garbage' as a 'unique' present!
