Here is what I understand (and anyone correct me if I'm wrong).
Simply by upvoting the post will give the poster STEEM. The more STEEM POWER you have, the more it will give the post you upvoted. They will get a blogging reward in steem dollars and STEEM POWER based on the upvotes they receive for the post. Does that make sense? I'm still learning as well!
