Where Steemit is going wrong and how it can be rectified in the Beta stage.

The idea of incentivized platform is great. But the way, Steemit is distributing the incentive is questionable. In fact, it’s strongly objectionable. They are giving money only for a limited period. Frankly speaking, it’s very limited period of just 1 day. Again, that money also credited in our account only after 30-days. That also, you can’t simply take it. You have to do lots of tricks / gimmicks to transfer that amount to our bank account. I think Steem should alter its strategy and completely overhaul the revenue sharing formula to make it sensible and equal. As long as our contents are viewed, shared, commented and consumed by the users, the content makers should get their share. Otherwise, it also becomes one more blockchain based bogus entity.

If I vote your post up or comment after those 24 hours you can still get payout from that. Or cant you?

From now on the payout period is a straight 7 days. After that, the votes do not count for payouts. The reason for this is scalability, it would be computationally unsustainable for all posts to remain in play for payouts over time.

@srini is correct that this is something which needs to be addressed, long term valuable content must be rewarded. However the payout pool is not able to facilitate this.

Immediately you won't get.
