STEEMIT Revolution: Why Creativity Stopped and Why It's Reignited

Why did our innovation curve stabilized instead of keeping up with its increase from the last decades? Why is creativity apparently depleted? And why the sudden change in 2017 with all the ruckus on Crypto activities?

The answer to these questions is the same, and while it can come easy for some, others didn't think about it yet, so I'm writing this post - so you can read my thoughts and ignite your own mind on this crucial topic.

Recently, @taskmaster4450 was writing about how the technological innovations chart was a bit lackluster and on why people accomodated in the recent years.

That sparked a discussion that lead me to write this post.

 

The Power of Big Data: Know Thy Enemy

Let me break it down to you, the halt on innovation isn't a coincidence at all. It serves the purposes of the big corps, bankers and financial leaders.

No, before you start, I'm not a communist. In fact, I'm not even on the political left (or right for that matter) and no, this isn't a conspiracy.

I'll explain why this stagnation is a result of today's policies at the end when considering all of the arguments.

For now, the fight from those big corps, bankers, financial leaders and so on (Which I'll call SHARKS) is on.

They're using BIG DATA to know their enemy - Everyone else, including other SHARKS.

You see, SHARKS don't bother about how they gobble up. They are famish, they need to grow, and if income stops pouring in they fall like a house of cards.

Having said that, you know in every conflict, you should know the enemy.

BIG DATA is their tool of choice. They know you inside out.

 

Students Know You Inside Out: You're a Huge Pet Rat

To really solidify the last argument, here's this site.

The University of Cambridge made this app, an app that can trace reliable Psychologic and Psychometric Profiles using just a couple of likes from your Facebook Feed.

Try it yourself - most of the times you get really good results, and though there is an error margin, most of you will see results hitting the bullseye.

Now think about this... these are small fries. 

Imagine what the big SHARKS know. Imagine what those SHARKS, who buy all social media info directly from the source, browsing history, purchasing habits and more know about you.

You're a huge pet rat, they see you roll on your wheel from the other side of the bars, and they know just how to handle you.

 

Divide and Conquer: Predict, Play, Pray

Now, their tactics are all as in the book - Know Thy Enemy, Divide and Conquer, Managing the Peasants "Prince Machiavelli" style.

They are dividing us, in segments, using all of that data. They know just how to tackle each segment, and while some of you may be nodding their heads, some of you may start to think I'm going on a Conspiracy Theory path here claiming that "They" are on to us.

It's not that, let me tell you just what it is:

 

Big Corporations, Bankers, Financial Leaders: Cementing Injustice

They are cementing their position at the top. No, I don't mean now, I mean when innovation stopped, and a bit before that.

We experienced an economic shift in the last century. We passed from the Age of Production (focus on producers) to the Age of Information (focus on consumers).

This lead "Old SHARKS" to ruin, while "New SHARKS" emerged.

These new SHARKS are mainstream Digital Companies and Patent Holders for instances... I can describe Zuck's Facebook as one of them.

So, these new SHARKS joined the parents of all SHARKS - Bankers - and replaced the old SHARKS that went poor about the time in which the Internet came around.

They cemented their positions by leveraging their huge advantage on data and information. They collected it through means no other company could collect until that time, and they used it to become powerful - so powerful they know you like no other company knew you before.

But there is a catch!

The current economic model has hit a wall. The Prehistorical Parents of all SHARKS - Bankers - and their FIAT powered economy are flawed.

They know this.

They also know that the fall of the traditional FIAT model is innevitable.

Hear me out:

The Death Sentence Occurred in the 70s When the Gold Standard fell and Money Became Paper... that was the last hit.

From their onwards, it was downhill - so, what to do?

 

The Goal of Stagnation: Keeping Up With the Status Quo

There's only one logical thing to do - to keep up the Status Quo.

No, this doesn't mean they want to stop technology from progressing. They do want to progress it, but according to their own lines of what is acceptable or not.

Is the technological progress compatible with the current world? Good.

It isn't?

Let's forget about that for no apparent reason for dozens and dozens of years. Screw stuff like Electric Cars for example (and that isn't even that menacing for the FIAT traditional system as a whole, just for a few of the SHARKS in it).

But... we are smart! Humans are smart! That's where our evolutionary advantage is at.

So...

It happened anyway. Sorry Sharks, here comes the Whale.

 

Decentralized Technologies are Hitting the Gong:

BOOM! Time to Wake Up!

BOOM! It doesn't have to be this way!

BOOM! Time to recover what THEY STOLE!

BOOM! THE GONG IS PLAYING! CREATIVITY WON! Decentralization is a thing!

 

Steemit, Crypto and Blockchain are Eating Up the Old World:

New projects come out every day, new ICOs that range from genious to money grabbing garbage pop up like daisies.

Creativity shows its CryptoKitties' Claws.

By writing on Steemit, we are just swimming in the warm embryo of the New World Order. 

Steemit, though we love it with all our hearts - SUCKS!

In 10 years we'll look at it and say: Man that was a lovely draft for what we're using today, but it really sucked eh?

Nonetheless, even with an abysmal search function, stupid User Interface and all of that crap - people love it! And people love it because it empowers! It fosters creativity! It fosters coopertation!

IT BREAKS THE PARADIGM!

That's why we love it and frown upon the traditional social media now.

What's more? Regardless of how the SHARKS squirm, it's starting to eat up the world, one bite at a time. 

The whale is growing!

 

Dawn of a New Age: You Live It, Breathe It - Be Grateful

If you are reading this... you, my friend, are the witness to a glorious new age.

An age of opportunity!

An age where Developing Country's families won't have to depend on HIGH-INTEREST Loans disguised as CHARITY (KIVA etc) but can get access to currency, basic income, and get somB

e remuneration in exchange for the value they provide to the community, or simply because other humans want to help them.

We can now directly send aid to people on the other side of the globe without having to rely on the SHARK'S "good faith" to distribute it.

No more embezzlement of charity funds... if you want to help - you help!

 

Be Grateful for living in the dawn of a new age. Be grateful for tagging along for the ride. Be an example.

Show the society in here what to do. Don't bash around other people. Help, extend a hand, change lives, do stuff like @wwf @stellabelle @fulltimegeek @underground and others are doing.

Do something, not only for others, for you as well.

Take your slice, we're not COMPETING for it, we are COOPERATING.
