super nervous about Steemit

I'm super nervous about Steem. Everyone seems to have a thing going and I've never been social over the internet, so I feel out of place...kinda. I don't have Facebook (cause ugh), I've never commented on pages, post and I keep my Instagram follows (and followers) to those I know only. I've always been a face to face kinda person, but the worlds changing and I really can't miss out on all the wonderful (and terrible) things and people out there.

I don't know what to post, how to interact, who I want to follow etc...

There's so much content available and I don't know how to filter through what/who I'm really interested in following and connecting with. It seems like cryptocurrencies is a hot trend on Steem, I like that since I'm just diving into that world and would like to know so much more (I've invested here and there with other coins but my knowledge is minimal).

I've read some pages about "Steem etiquette", upvotes and how to use them and how the community works but to be honest it just makes me more nervous 😅 lolz. Is this really something I should put thought into?

anyway that was a mini rant.

*I would like to post my work on here but I'm not ready yet, "I'm an artist and I'm sensitive about my shit." I think I'll just get comfortable with Steem and enjoy posting my thoughts first.
