Son-of-Satire INTRODUCTION. A thank you to the creators of Steemit.

Hello to all the members of the Steemit community. I hope that you are having a good day so far. I would like to take a moment to briefly introduce myself and let you all know what type of content I intend to submit.

My name is Scott and I am a 29 year old male from Glasgow, Scotland. I found out about Steemit through the Youtube channel of @dollarvigilante. The idea resonated with me instantly and I knew that I wanted to become a part of the community and the economy. I'm sure a lot of you are as reluctant as I am to be forced into paying taxes to help fund unjust wars in order to make weapons manufacturers and criminal banksters even wealthier. For this reason, the concept of using an entirely new economy and the opportunity to get rewarded fairly for my input into the community, sounds like a life changing opportunity. 

I would like to take a moment to thank Ned Scott and Daniel Larimer, and all others that may have contributed to this innovative and revolutionary platform. You guys are truly lifesavers.

As for the type of content I will be providing the community with; I aim to upload satirical articles which will be in the style of very serious pieces, only the content will be so utterly ridiculous that it will be obvious that it is untrue. Yes, I intend to do this because I believe that it will brighten a few peoples day and encourage a few laughs.. But, more importantly, I am doing this to bring light to the stupidity of the falsifications that the mainstream, corporate media expect us to believe in this day in age. Things have gotten completely out of hand in regards to the mainstream global media and I hope that my content can serve as a mockery of their invented stories and blatant advertisements.  

As a disclaimer, I would like to bring attention to the fact that some of my posts will be NSFW, some will be absurd, and most will be completely ridiculous. My aim is not to offend anyone, only to inspire laughter. However, if one of my posts do offend you, then I offer you my apologies, as well as some advice; There are a lot of things in this world worth getting upset about. Too many in fact. Some light hearted comedy, posted to shine a light on one of the major problems in our world today, should not be one of them.
