Steemit Trailer

Last year was an important year for Steemit. Everything started with the launch in March ´16. After that Steemit grew to over 100.000 users, everyone from a different genre. From App developers to food experts, artists and many many more. It was time to create a trailer so we will gain more users and explain what makes Steemit so interesting.

 

@sirwinchester held the first Steemit Meetup in Hamburg where we got to meet @aaronkoenig the producer and director of the Steemit trailer. Since we posted a lot about our passion dance, he asked to create the official trailer with him together. He also contacted the Steemit inc. team so they were able to support us…
The trailer was released at the first SteemFest in Amsterdam! But since Steemit gained a lot of new users, I want everyone to see this nice project.

Everything started with an idea. Aaron send us his creative thoughts we and send him ours. Of course @sirwinchester created a choreography since he is also our dance teacher.  @mrs.steemit @agent @sirwinchester and I live in Hamburg so we went to Berlin where Aaron had set up everything.  

The alarm clock was ringing at 7.30 AM which was way too early because we stayed up at night until 3 AM. But that was no big deal. Everyone was exited so the day could start.  After hair and make-up we had no time and rushed to the set where everyone was already waiting to shoot the Steemit Film.  

We had to hurry as the weather can be changing in 1 second to another in Germany especially in September! Everyone was professional. We got to finish the shoot at early nighttime and drove back to Hamburg.  

Then our musician was able to do his magic. Julio from Buenos Aires composed the original score which was quite tricky because he needed the beat to match our dance moves. But I believe it turned out great!

Now it was Tomek´s turn. He was our animator and added a few special effects to the video.  

I sadly couldn´t make it to SteemFest in November but @mrs.steemit went there instead. She proudly premiered the official Steemit Trailer! I only heard great reactions and I hope all new Steemians will like it too!
