RE: The FUNDAMENTAL issue of Steem nobody talks about... Part 1: Defining the problem (+ Bounty!)

in #steemit6 years ago (edited)

Once a user logs in there should be no need to submit another password just to post. The small amounts of crypto currency involved, as well as the action of posting, do not need this degree of security. If Steemit wants a lot of active users, like the bigger social media the sites, it should be fast and easy to use. I had much difficulty loading a photo to my post, repeatedly. The problem has decreased. I managed to add a picture to one post today, though the picture for the second post did not upload. If there are others experiencing this problem, then it should be fixed. This is not at all to be critical. I appreciate this site, but easy and rapidity of use is a positive feature (of course), and is normally an expectation for a social media platform, otherwise it seems (to me) to be underconstruction. If this site is still under construction, to the degree that just posting a photo is a big investment of time, fine, but there should be be a prominent announcement about this, even for a beta site. I saw tutorials for how to post photos at this site, but really, the normal way to post a photo is to click on a button, and choose the file to upload (fast and easy).
