Philosophy coffee
The Coffee Philosophy is a fiction book by Dewi Lestari familiarly called Dee. In addition to the Coffee Philosophy, Dee's other works are Supernova, Rectoverso, and Paper Boat.
Through this book Coffee Philosophy, Dee wanted to present how the struggle of a person who has a hobby of coffee and interpret the coffee from the standpoint of life. This book was awarded as the best literary work of 2006 by Tempo magazine. In the same year, the Coffee Philosophy was also successfully crowned into the Big 5 Equator Award fiction category.
The main story in the Coffee Philosophy book tells about Ben and Jody. Ben is a reliable barista in concocting coffee. With Jody, he set up a coffee shop called The Coffee Philosophy Find Yourself Here.
Ben gave a brief description of the coffee philosophy of each of the coffee pots he served at the store. The store became very crowded and full of visitors. One day, a rich man challenges Ben to make a coffee pot that when drunk will make us hold his breath so astonished, and can only say: life is perfect, and Ben manages to make it. The coffee pot called Ben's Perfecto became the best drink to El (Julie Estelle) who had traveled around Asia because of his love for coffee and said that the taste of coffee was "pretty good" compared to the coffee he had tasted at a location in Central Java.
