I think the problem is when people begin to expect bigger payouts for their post Just think about it, for years many of us have posted on facebook and other social sites and didnt receive a cent. So even if its just a penny guess what, its more than you could have made posting the same thing on facebook. People are creatures of expectations and because they see one member making hundreds of dollars off each post, they feel they should get the same. You never know the work effort that was put in by the author to reach the level where they are. Remain humble and post true blogs from the heart and the rest will come.
