RE: People Flagging For Lack Of Quality

in #steemit7 years ago

Yeah, im guessing originally it was brought into the system to fight alt accounts self upvoting but it looks like the main players are ok when they self upvote with all their alts just not when others do it. Just like the copy pasta posts, the people that are saying they are protecting the site from it are the main people running alt accounts doing it.

And we all know what happens when you provide evidence showing the people claiming to protect the site are the biggest commiters of the crimes they are claiming to fight.

No point in guessing. The white paper is right there, under your pic. Take 5 minutes and read it!

LOL

But, opinion flagging, and flagging cuz 'too much rewards' aren't in the white paper. Opinion flaggots are just assholes, and too much rewards flaggots are just returning rewards to the pool where whales will get them, rather than some upstart minnow/dolphin.

Whales get 99% of rewards. When they flag them off your post, they get them, not the rest of the minnows.

In Nov 2017 median payout was $.01. Many people got all pissed cuz @haejin was taking 5% of the rewards pool.

What is 5% of $.01?

It ain't shit.

'Too much rewards' doesn't matter at all to minnows. It costs whales money. Now, it ain't their money until they selfvote it, but they get all flaggotty for it, just like it was anyway. So, next time someone gets all righteous and tells you that rewards aren't yours until payout, point out the whales getting all flaggotty about 'too much rewards'.

Same difference.

Yeah i think i basically agree with all of that.
lol

Makes my brain spin trying to think about it, its so messed up imo.
