My First Day With My New Wacom Tablet!

This thing RULES! im still getting use to it but just in the last 3 hrs i been playing with it i can tell im struggling less and my line strokes are getting longer.

This is what i doodled while i was setting up the basic controls.

it was mostly setting up the pen to change size with pressure and the airbrush so the opacity changed with pressure.

After that i started playing with the pencil settings so i could sketch, i finally figured out you want oppsite of the pen. no brush size change and only flow so the harder you push the darker it was.

Rotation of the canvas on the version of photoshop i have (because its so old) i cant use the wheel to spin the canvas, i have had to manually rotate it and thats a bit annoying and time consumming but compared to a mouse its like i was trying to draw with a brick days ago.

This is what i came up with as my first sketch with a tablet.

I did the middle one first just playing around, the one above it was the second one i sketched out. i noticed it was alot easier by that time already. the one on the bottom was just me trying to make it steemit worthie and damn if it wasent way quicker and easier then the other two. couple more days and i should be adapted. if i can figure out a way to set the rotation to the wheel that would help alot or i might look for a new photoshop version online.

Well hopefully in a couple days ill feel comfortable enough with the tablet to start a short animation. OMG im so excited!
