Internet Explorer NOT Supported By Steemit After Last Update!!!!!!!
I have been trying to log into steemit for over a week now. I even reformatted my computer losing hundreds of gigs worth of photos programs and videos, nothing fixed the problem.
Everything would come up on steemit but the main tab would just load for days, never ending loading. I could watch you all post and comment but i could not log in/out comment or anything. it was like being completley paralized but fully awake and aware of everything going on around me. Not fun to be honest.
I did some searching online for solutions to the problem and after hours of stifting through crap i came across this post.

It looks like everyone using internet explorer is having the same problem. The person supplies the people with the information they asked for and they confirm that it is because steemit is using Object.assign rather than the es2015 object spread. The person asked if it was ever going to get fixed and they went silent. That was 7 days ago.
The higher ups know that the new update made steemit not compatable with internet explorer but have not said anything about it? Wont say if they plan to fix the issue or if they are just making it so people that use internet explorer cant use steemit?
I downloaded chrome to make this post and to reply to my comments. I fucking hate google chrome! How many people cant use steemit because of this?
All the main problems of steemit have been ignored another year with cosmetic changes done to the interface to try to cover up the problems. How many times they going to polish this turd before they finally work on the real problems?
So yay we have a new look to steemit but now people cant log in if they use internet explorer.
How is this not the number one thing people on this platform are talking about? This internet explorer ordeal could lose so many users and potential users in the future i feel it should be the most important thing needing fixing on this platform as of right now.

Well that's because internet explorer is a virus or basically is and you should prob use something else.

More then half the world uses IE and to cut them off with no word on it and when asked if it will get fixed they go silent says alot. or atleast to me.
Telling people they should use a differnt browser is not a solution to steemits problem. Steemit didnt even come out with an announcement on it so people that use IE could be ready for it.
Claiming it is IE's fault that steemit made some bad updates is crazy.
I think its insane im expected to run chrome for steemit when every other site in the world i can access with IE. How many steemit users still have no clue why they cant log in?

Every time I post now I get, 'transaction broadcast error'. In the past a refresh and repeat post would fix this, so the first time I got it I ended up posting the same post 7 times! I eventually opened a new window and saw that the error message was lying!
I wish time was spent on the way things work and not on looks.

the number one issue of the site to me now is the internet explorer not being supported. when asked if they plan to fix it they went silent. im starting to think they dont plan to fix it cause no one seems to care enough to talk about it.
IDK anymore, the last year i have watched all the main problems get swept under the rug for a couple visual upgrades that the site doesnt need. i personally liked the old look and interface better and only see them doing it as a way to distract the people talking about real issues.
