Hi @skeptic, with all due respect, I think your analogy is flawed.
a) A flagger does not receive the money that the post lost. The woman in the picture above took the beggars money for herself.

but more importantly

b) The payment displayed on your post isn't paid yet. The system is still in the process of determining how much to pay you, but it hasn't happened yet. The final decision depends on how the post is voted on.

Once Steemit actually pays you, then no one can take it away. Even the biggest whales can't touch your money at that point. (without a hard fork anyways.)

Reaching into a beggars cup and taking the money is stealing because the money in the cup already belongs to the beggar.

In conclusion, I don't believe that flagging is stealing.

Edited for grammar...

I could not find a picture of someone kicking a donation cup down a drain so I worked with what I had, also a lot of it was about how when someone said something the flaggot threatened more flags, laughed about it because there is nothing anyone can do about it.
I also want to do one where someone pulls a gun on them and said burn your money or ill shoot and the person at gun point says if you don't drop the un and walk away I will be forced to defend myself. just then cops run in with gus drawn and shout out did you hear that guy threatening someone. point guns at the person told to burn money and they all start unloaing. then after the person is dead they look at the original guy tht was using the gun and tell him don't worry we will protect you from people like that.
idk, finding pictures for that would have to be a mash up or something.

Hmm, ok. Cool, thanks for the gif!

XD
all commenters on this post will prolly get one.
glad u like it

Except in the scenario in which the reason for the flag is to liberate funds to later try cashing into.

I mean, someone could sacrifice a couple of votes and with them the possibility of rewarding from curation in pursuit of making the funds that would had otherwise been available with the upvote go back to the pool with the flag. Their intention may be to post later and take advantage of the pool they helped make bigger by way of flags.

But then that would be renouncing any possible rewards in curation

Seems steemit does make you more creative hahahaha.

yeah. lol
just found the animation program yesterday. wish I would have found it way before the flagging drama.

By the way @skeptic - I do not approve of you being blanket flagged. I have supported some of your posts through all of this and I don't have a lot of power.

However, there are more blanket flaggers like @asshole coming out that are just flagging anyone and everything. This is abuse. I will flag these people back.

I have not seen you endorse such activities. I will continue to support your posts if I believe they have value and will not flag you. If you are endorsing these blanket flagging people then I cannot support your efforts.

I do disagree with how you were flagged, and the results. You've read enough of my posts on flagging over the past few months to know this.

EDIT: I also won't flag back people who just flag me. It is the indiscriminate flagging and throwing a tantrum, smashing windows, like attitude that I will fight back against as it is a form of abuse.

yeah I don't use the flag, never have never will.
the flag should only be for child porn and copypasta. imo atleast.
someone knows who that bot belongs to.
