Steem Diary Entry 43 Season 2 - 18/9/2020
Dear Steemit Diary this is entry #43 for the Steemit Diary game Season 2, my alarm is set for 7.00 AM as I find this time to be working well for my schedule, today I got up for 8.00 AM well one hour later but it's ok.

So today I got up one hour later than the set time and while I admit at first I was slightly annoyed I quickly realised why it happened.
Firstly I did go to sleep late which is entirely my own fault but that wasn't the reason why I was so beat, it was the really long work shift I had yesterday.
And so knowing that I had previously done such a shift I realised I really needed some of that extra rest.
Once I was up I started by login into Steemit and starting with my daily online tasks, today I didn't have work and so I had lots of times to get the thing's done.
I then went down for breakfast and noticed two of my cat's were feeling sick, one of them is ok now while the other one I'm still not sure about and will I be keeping an eye out, as for breakfast this morning I had hot cross buns with butter.

After breakfast I started with all the house chores that needed to be done and since I had no plans to go out I spent most of my time today doing that.
I also brought a little more Steem today as the price is low right now but unfortunately the whole transaction was not as smooth as I would of liked due to some security checks but I managed to get there in the end.
Once I had more of the chores done I played some retro games, I was mostly trying to complete one of the old Megaman games as they are insanely difficult.
But I did finally finish it today and I have now moved on to playing a retro game called Little Ninja Brothers which is one of the few rpg's available for the system at the time.

Later I was talking to a friend from work on the phone and at one point we discussed who had left and moved on I suddenly remembered a guy who had disappeared since I had last seen him at the alternative work sites which we had to go to due to covid virus.
I asked my friend on the phone is she knew anything about him and it turned out he decided to leave because he didn't want to go return back to our original worksite due to our boss.
It's amazing really how he enjoyed working for the company and really enjoyed working at the alterative worksites but in the end quit because of the simple fact of not wanting to work for our boss.
What a shame but I also dont blame him one bit as most of us didn't want to return to our original work site just because of our boss lol.
Anyway after the phone call I went for a shower and then started on dinner for tonight we had sausages with those oven baked potatoes from yesterday.

Washed up after dinner and listened to the news apparently some people are being sent to certain facilities to get a covid test "for those who want one" but when they get there despite there being a queue there in no one in the building attending to anybody... so I'm left wondering why the heck are the people still in a queue if there is nobody there working at the facility...?
Perhaps they think if they wait long enough someone random will test them, anyway after I went back upstairs to write the Steemit diary post I then went to sleep but due to some other odd things happening on the net I went to sleep rather late.
And So That Concludes My Diary Entry For Today.
