Hey roger your initial observation is correct, let me explain, since the price of Steem as barely moved this year I set the parameters to instead give me the result of the average STEEM price in the last 3 months this normally ends up being accurate but because I took a break twice when there was actually any movement it's got a little behind, since the price of STEEM is going up this should soon correct itself.
