Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

I went to sleep under the usual late hour last night, this as become more consistent lately because of all the early morning work shifts that I get. And so I have adapted to this routine.. or at least "I try to" because getting the right amount of sleep needed can be difficult. It's only difficult because I'm stubborn and want to fit everything in 1 day, and I guess for me it's just often not possible. Still I went to sleep later than I wanted to because I was stuck on the phone with a friend for too long. Falling asleep was not a problem with the night being milder and myself being tired from all the early morning shifts. I'm surprised I wasn't too over tired however I had napped previously during the day. The weather this morning was bright, the sky was a clear blue, it was a sunny looking morning, temperature wise it was warm. Still if anybody as any solutions to produce heat without the high costs let me know as I could use the money saved instead for more Steem. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, this happens now when I'm off from work. I still woke-up earlier than I wanted. It was difficult to get out of bed, but only because I wanted to get more rest after missing out during the week. With a late start I was glad I didn't have work to be in for today, but more so I could rest, which means that this was a good opportunity to get on with some chores and other things. There was plans to meet up with friends later, recently this was a little more difficult because they are having some major house repairs. And so we wanted to give the workmen their maximum time so that my friends can be comfortable at home again soon. But since the workmen are busy there today we are going out for dinner after my friends finish work. Still I have many other things to get on with. I still want to continue with the kitchen at some point, improving and cleaning it's walls. I got all the pictures out of my phone and on to the computer, this is incase the battery on the phone stops working. I deleted all the pictures I didn't like. But now it's the task of organising them somewhat, but that will be a job for when I have the time to spare, but I try and get a few photos done each day. Time I got back from a small lunch I noticed I didn't have much time left to continue on with what I was doing before having to leave for meeting with friends, I also wanted to generally leave a little earlier. This is because normally I end up rushing at some point to try and meet up with them on time, but since it was so warm out today "well if your in the sun" I didn't want to be rushing in such heat, plus I like to visit the park on the way. Things kind of went the way I expected, and like I suspected there would be no time to chill at the park, or go anywhere in town before my friends had already arrived. They got there before me and then we went for food, I was vey happy that this time my favourite dish was prepared to their usual good standard, compared to the previous visit were clearly something wasn't right. Think this is now 3 days in a row where I managed to get my small quick workouts done, and while today I pushed it again I started to feel the effects of it. I know I should take a rest day but will likely do that on a day off, but honestly I been enjoying getting them done again which is why I also haven't taken the rest day. After I went for a small dinner, lastly I started to prepare to settle in for the night. The TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers part of the condenser project to fix the wrong display numbers. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. We should of kept the TRX wallet functional, if you agree you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Hope you have a good day or night and I will see you on the next Steemit post.

Today's Picture

This photo was taken during the work day, our superiors were nice enough to provide us with some treats.
In this case we have ourselves what I think might be those famous Mr Kipling made mini cakes, I believe these are called the "French Fancies".

"Exceedingly good" I think is the motto here, and I admit that for these French Fancies they are not wrong going by such a motto, they are delicious!

In this particular photo we take a top side view on this mini cake, from this angle I feel we can now see more clearly the bump at the top" which normally holds some delicious cream. A previous view from directly on top makes it look much flatter and rounder, I hope this gives a better understanding of these mini cakes and their shape.

However I'm sad to report that at least for me personally, and from what I have heard from friends, also from a few articles I have read, that others have also noticed and agreed that they are not what they used to be.

There used to be a time when biting into these mini cakes was a heavenly creamy like flavour of smoothness, these days it's turned more into a slightly sharper, sweeter and harder taste.
I'm sure for some people they will still love it but I admit I prefer the older recipe from a few years back.

Regardless for a work treat this was wonderful, plus at the time when this photo was taken they were still how I prefer them with the older recipe.
