Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 3/1/2022.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 5 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 3/1/2022.

Hope that everyone passed New Years Eve well, whether you spent the night quietly or being loud partying hopefully the first day was one of rest, recovery and clarity going forward. Unfortunately unlike back in 2018 we didn't wake up to Steem reaching $8 lol. The price of Steem did drop corresponding with the Bitcoins falling, SBD's also took a hit and did recover some. Not as much as I was hoping for but still we can't complain about that as it's still a better result than no recovery at all, as certain movements do make it easier for reaching our Steem Power target. As for the weather I can't believe how mild it was for new years evening, sure much later it did get pretty cold so I was glad to have that extra layer on. The cold can't seem to make up it's mind like this morning it wasn't too bad but around 3pm it got cold again. I think I'm now receiving all messages again to my phone seems that whatever it was I done it's been slowly fixing the issue. I didn't want to get a new phone yet as his one still looks almost new but I did for some reason got banned from WhatsApp without a warning or justification. This is very frustrating as it was a good way to communicate with family and some friends too who are far away. Today I had work and was in for the morning shift again had to little earlier than yesterday but by only an hour. Since I went to sleep later than I wanted it did make it difficult to get up this morning but at least I still managed this unlike one of my other colleagues who arrived late. I'm not sure what the guy was on today but everything was wrong for him, I mean he's relatively new but he seemed on point most days but wow today for whatever reason he was in another space. It was frustrating as he was doing what are my usual duties to which again I'm always confused as to why the superiors think swapping with someone else for a day is a good idea, the guy was causing quiet a lot of problems. Yesterday I noticed there was alot of stuff that was not updated so I made some complaints to the staff and they quickly got on with updating everything before the work for later would arrive. As for new years I only arrived home around 3am on the day I somehow got out late from work, no idea why as we all seemed ready to leave on time but somehow didn't..? As for my colleagues from what I could gather most people were not really doing much for new years eve again.. well except for funnily the guy who claims to be homeless lol!? Apparently he expected to be done partying around 4 to 5 in the morning lol, I saw him today but I'm yet to ask him how was he's night? I feel somehow the lesser celebrations in general is partly to do with the covid virus. I did find it a little comical at work when this guy came in claiming he as covid but can't prove it "so he can be off work", this is despite him having done many covid test. Apparently because the tests keep saying that he's negative... to which he reckons he keeps getting false negatives...lol I guess he's never heard of false positives either? Honestly he seemed like he had the flu and was just trying to get a few days off work I think if your feeling that bad you shouldn't be coming into work anyway as the body needs time to rest and recover. Last time in work it was odd as a ton of work was coming in for my department yet the superiors decided to put me somewhere else. This was a stupid move on their part as I noticed a mistake that my colleagues started back on my actual department. And while most of the work got done in the end it wasn't done correctly meaning it took someone else the following morning a few hours to fix it all LOL. I believe Christmas was better this year and the big simple reason for that was I got home early this year and also because I had boxing day off. Like this I didn't have to worry about being %100 for work the following next day. For new years when I did eventually finish work I had to quickly get home so I could get ready to meet friends as we had the night planed to go out and eat at a old styled diner. After eating the plan was to go watch a movie at the cinema which wasn't really something I thought of doing as I would of assumed it would be closed. Next on the agenda after watching the film the idea was to end the night by going into a nearby bar or club. Haha well the night began in complete disaster, this was because they wouldn't let us into any of the places we wanted without pre-booking or paying extra high fees for other features that we had no interest in. And before you remind me that we should be aware of this because it's new years eve "Yes" we knew this already and so checked their websites for any mention of bookings needed "which none were mentioned anywhere!". My friends were left fuming with the constant rejections and it nearly ruined the night. What I mostly found funny is how these places are desperate for customers and money but yet they were turning down costumers who were showing up, they were essentially sabotaging their own business. So with me pointing this out we put our heads together and hunted for other places who were just as desperate for costumers but were smart enough to not be doing all this booking-in nonsense even if they were less that half empty. We almost managed to find complete alternatives to the whole plan that we had originally set. And honestly it was a pretty decent night and as already mentioned above I only arrived home around 3am. It's been strangely happening lately that getting less sleep I somehow feel like I have more energy, it makes no sense but surely it's not healthy to have a lack of sleep but have more energy. As for the progress on fitness I lost about %70 of the weight gained by the lockdowns and so have continued to try and shed the weigh off which I was doing by tracking my step count per-day and doing small daily workouts. I started all this back in mid April last year and continued until the beginning of October as this is when my work schedules began to revert back to normal which made it too difficult for me to continue. I come to the conclusion that it had to be put on hold at least until "New Year's Eve" was over. I will of course try in the mean time try to get in a workout, but so far this as not been possible. And as for steps the app for recording them is no longer working correctly and so for now this will also be put on hold until I get more time to look into the problem but was aiming for around 105k steps per week.
