Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 20/7/2022.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 5 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 20/7/2022.

Here we are in July its another summer and supposedly a happier time after the crippling covid pandemic but generally most can't agree because of this continued mayhem in the streets of the Ukraine. Yes the war still goes on even after 100 + days of blood, it's a terrible moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall at boarders. They instead strike fear, call treats and cast sadness into the lives of many with this war.. a war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. But heck for the bankers and government's the original "Build Back Better" plan sure seems to be going swell for them as the country is getting destroyed to be replaced with probably those new residential prison blocks that we are all to call home. As for Steem after the previous fix on Steemit.com I hoped that would sort out some of the issues with acquiring Steem, while I don't think everything is fixed like in the Bittrex case the Steem Wallet being down it does look that at least now most of the issues have been fixed. I'm often seeing Hive working perfectly fine on many of these fronts with Steem on the other hand always being taken on and off, why is this?❓ We need to know what we can do to keep such issues to a minimum as this makes Steem lose out on buyers and adds more money loss due to gas fees as more trades are needed to be made in order to get hold of Steem. On July 6th most of these issues seemed to be functioning again however on July 17th I did notice you can't trade Steem for BTC but as usual with Hive there is no problem. I even had to contact support at one point to get my Steem order completed and they explained that the Steem would be sent to me when the problem with Steem's liquidity provider is fixed. I think this as something to do with Steem itself and not the exchange?❓ I can't remember and so if anybody can confirm and explain this in the comments you could win a upvote from me. There might still be a few things not working correctly like steemd.com and steemnow.com lets hope that this with time can be dealt with, are these sites in the hands on the SteemitTeam? It would be useful if the Steemit Team could warn us of such events in the future or have someone appointed to give us such warnings as this can cause confusion and money loss for both investors and the value of the Steem coin itself.

As for crypto Steem took a big fall because of the bitcoins downwave from 60k which sadly means this also took down the value of SBD's. This was expected but yet I admit it's honestly surprising by just how long it maintained it's value. SBD's are mostly still holding around that important $3 mark which is great and seeing all that cheap Steem out there for grabs as been catching my attention. I will continue to look at it as another situation for opportunity because I'd say if your looking to get more Steem this might just still be the best time for doing so. And this is what I like about Steem there is still so much opportunity out there for investors. It will be interesting to see what happens next with BTC as it even fell below the 20k mark at one point, surely that was the bottom now. In one way I hope it stays on the lower end for a while longer before another bullrun as like this it could mean some great opportunities for the future when it comes to crypto investing but we are indeed currently going upwards. Still I will probably delve a little more into this risky game with the little that I can afford with the intension of getting a little more Steem in future. The weather in July is no longer comparable to the previous month as the heat we are having now as made June seem really tame in comparison, but tonight after other 3 failed attempts it's finally rained and so things begin to cool. It was the 2nd of June when it turned very hot which triggered the beginning of my hayfever, the symptoms have been on and off and "mostly minor" which I'm happy about but I guess it could still get a lot worse in these next 2 months but honestly I'm really surprised by just how mild they have been and of course very happy.

As for today I was in work for the morning shift, as like most of these summer mornings there as been alot more work to get on with and so even the superior was getting annoyed by the low staff count. I'm hoping this will trigger her to say something to our boss, and what I found funny is she discovered that our boss as been giving himself more staff during he's shifts but on hers there were less staff. Again I hope this is another thing that will trigger the superiors to speak up. I was also told today about some nearby fires in the area, I guess this doesn't surprise me as the adults around here behave more like children if anything so if they burned down their own neighbourhoods by accident I guess I'm not too shocked. We even had a guy walk in from another business telling us he needs to cancel our service when asked why he said it burned down...wow. So yea lately the many fires sure seem to be causing a lot of problems everywhere, even out bulk work load didn't come in today, I'm not sure if it's related but it could be. This week again my whole schedule had changed I thought this was just me but some other staff have also had their week severely rescheduled which as now happened for two weeks straight. I saw a few days ago that their excuse for all this rescheduling comes down to "the weather" and recruitment. Now let's see if I got into work late and my excuse was "oh but the weather" they would straight away tell me that's not an excuse, but yet here we are.. so it's perfectly fine for them to use it but not us. As for the recruitment I highly doubt you'd need to reschedules most of your staff, I mean for what to like recruit one or 2 people? Because so far I have not seen a single recruit or day for them to visit us? So what's with all this recruitment nonsense? Also on the day when I got in one of the superiors said she had a bone to pick with me... again.. well I tried to ignore her lol, which I know I shouldn't but I just didn't need anymore criticism from her while already dealing with some family problems. Anyway she proceeded to accuse me of apparently leaving some work things behind when they asked me to work at my old job the other day. This is again completely false as I remember the day very clearly, I didn't do this but she gave me no opportunity to defend or make a case this is regardless of me telling her I didn't do it. This is now the 2nd time she's done this in like a month and should really stop making things up. While I'm not happy about this what did make the day much better was the fact that all the bulk of the work was already done. I was also told about a thief from a colleague but this isn't really anybody related to us as it was someone just delivering stuff to the premises, apparently he stole someone's phone and it was caught on camera. Strangely and not too surprising "nothing happened yet" the thief's work place as been alerted and they yet want to try and catch him in the act again or so it seems? Why, I mean how much more proof do you need than the guy being caught on CCTV in the act...!?

I also noticed on the day at the last hour of work I was scheduled to do something else, I thought this was strange and a colleague even mentioned that it was probably some kind of assessment thing which annoyingly was also what I was thinking. I remember that was a really long one it was mostly a busy day but better maintained compared to the morning and for a moment I thought they actually had a extra person in but apparently not. They had infact hired extra security which I found weird. Why have in extra security on this particular morning rather than getting in extra staff...? I mean either something was expected to go down and we needed the security or they are just that backwards. But yea in the end it seems they hired more security for no reason rather than getting us more staff to tackle all the work that needs doing. It seems "a lack of trust" in the work place as began forming as at one point a acting superior came to see me, he pretended to be demanding to know where some certain paperwork had been placed. I gave him the paperwork and as he continued looking over it he mentioned apparently something about people not signing the paperwork correctly and doing half the job blah blah. He was actually talking riddles, from one thing to another acting very nervously which makes me think he was only sent there to check to see if I was actually working. Similar happened again the previous day too as one of the superiors kind of snuck up on me and said she thought she had just seen me sitting around doing nothing, she then began apologising for thinking negatively of me. Lol I mean what the.. abit of a strange thing to come out with. I didn't even really know what to say but it doesn't surprise me as all they think we do is sit around and do nothing. I mean this happens even when clearly work is being done as it can be seen on the system, it's something these idiots always seem to forget is that the usual work still continues on regardless. Unless they are actually looking to catch people playing on their phones or something.
