Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 2/8/2022.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 5 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 2/8/2022.

Here we are in August and its another summer, supposedly a happier time after the crippling covid pandemic but generally most can't agree because there is a war still going on. It's a terrible moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall at boarders, they instead strike fear, call treats and cast sadness into the lives of many with this war.. a war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end, best keep an eye on those politicians and refuse war at all costs. As for Steem after the previous fix on Steemit.com I don't think everything was fixed like in the Bittrex case "their Steem Wallet still being down" also the sites steemd.com and steemnow.com are also still down. Are these sites in the hands of the SteemitTeam? If anybody as any information on this let me know it the comments to win a upvote from me. But apart from that it seems like most of the other issues have been settled as it's annoying constantly seeing Hive working perfectly fine on many of these fronts with Steem on the other hand always being taken on and off. Why is this?❓ We need to know what we can do to keep such issues to a minimum as this makes Steem lose out on buyers and adds more money loss to traders. On July 6th most trade issues were functioning again, however on July 17th I did notice you couldn't trade Steem for BTC again, as usual with Hive there was no problem. At one point I had to contact support to get my Steem order completed and they explained that the Steem would be sent to me after the problem with Steem's liquidity provider is fixed. I think this as something to do with Steem itself and not the exchange?❓ I can't remember and so if anybody can confirm and explain this in the comments below you could win a upvote from me. It would be useful if the Steemit Team could warn us of such events or keeps us informed on the situation in future or have someone appointed to give us such feedback, as these problems can cause confusion or money loss for both investors and the value of the Steem coin itself.

As for crypto Steem took a big fall because of the bitcoins downwave from 60k, this means it sadly also took down with it the value of SBD's. This was expected but admit it's been surprising just how long it maintained it's value. SBD's however are now mostly holding around that important $3 mark which is great. Seeing all that cheap Steem out there for grabs as been catching my attention and so I continue to look at it as another situation for opportunity because I'd say if your looking to get more Steem this might still just be the best time for doing so. And that's what I like about Steem it still offers so much opportunity for investors unlike some other coins you'd need a lot more cash. It will be interesting to see what happens next with BTC as it even fell below the 20k mark at one point, surely that was the bottom. In one way I hope it stays in the lower end for a while longer before another bullrun as like this it could offer some opportunities in future for crypto investing. However it's definitely been going upwards lately but I will still probably delve some earnings into this risky game with the little that I can afford with the end intensions of getting a bit more Steem. The weather in August is not as hot compared to July but at night its seems strangely more muggy. July 31th was the last time it rained well it was only for about 5 minutes. June 2nd it began to get hot which triggered my hayfever, however the symptoms have been on and off and "mostly minor" which I'm very happy about. As for today I was off work, didn't plan to meet with friends so instead rested a bit more then caught up with things I needed to do at home and continued research for some of the family problems.

Yesterday I done the late shift which I had not done in a while, it was relatively quiet and also since there wasn't any extra work coming in later it made for a calm shift. Again they tried to prank me with the whole thing about there being a ton of work to be done coming in later. It's like come on now guys I do remember about the change to every other day. As I left it was a little strange as this lady offered me her shopping, I was confused and she explained she couldn't carry anymore and that her bags were too heavy. She said if I didn't take the shopping she was only going to dump the bag in the bushes, she said she had swapped some of the items over "the heavier ones" and told me to take it. When I looked in the bag it was mostly all her veggies and she already walked away, I left the bag with the supermarket and told them someone lost their shopping and gave them a description in hope the lady would come back and the supermarket will offer her the items back. I was in for some weird times I began to think I was probably going to help other staff back at my old job. And yup my guess was right but what I didn't expect was to have someone else also assist me. Like this it made everything run more or less smoothly, well lets just say better then if I was on my own. That wasn't my initial task I had some other things they wanted me to get done first and so like this because I would be starting the process late I thought I would of had to stay in for longer. I didn't want to as I already had plans but luckily it didn't come to that and I was able to leave on time which was actually before most of all the other staff lol. Still when I last worked with this particular member of staff I looked over the system and there was actually a lot for me to get done and wasn't sure if it would be possible to have it all completed. And I did notice the guy who was suppose to be helping was really taking he's time. I looked over other parts of the work and nothing was really being done by him. He honestly generally wastes so much time but I will admit he does make up for it when he actually does the work, it was surprisingly all done with around 20 minutes to spare. Well the superior did send for extra help but this wouldn't of been needed if the other guy started a little earlier. I did do a mistake on the day which I didn't deny but was confused at first to how it happened. The superior blamed it on me getting old.. While I can't deny the fact I'm getting old it wasn't because of that. It was only later I realised how the mistake was made but simply my mind was thinking about other things as lately it's been a bit like that due to some family problems.

I got to witness finally something that looked like staff recruitment, but instead it was all of the bosses from different areas coming in on their day off. This was for a meeting where they were clearly trying to wear their most casual slob wear look possible. Well except for the only woman there, I got to give her credit as she was the only person who actually dressed in her business wear, but maybe she only done so because she had just came from working at her site. Also a colleague told me that the even bigger boss was strangely spotted outside "just watching" which made him nervous. Lol I told him not to worry as the guy is just a weirdo. Still more people should be complaining to our boss about having in that extra person but I'm seeing already that this wont be dealt with until Christmas time. It's like people had their whole work week severely rescheduled, their excuse for all this came down to "the weather" and "recruitment". If I got into work late and my excuse was "oh the weather" they would tell me right off the bat "that's not an excuse!" fine for them to use it.. And as for the recruitment I highly doubt you'd need to reschedules most of your staff and so far I have not seen a single thing being done by them recruitment related. I heard something like 2 weeks ago about them being close to hiring someone new but still nothing.

There were some nearby fires in the area, this doesn't surprise me because if anything the adults around here behave more like spoilt brats, and so if they are found to be the cause of burning down their own neighbourhoods it wouldn't be too shocking. Like the other day as I came home from work some idiot in the neighbourhood was trying to laser me, he got me in the eyes and at first I thought it was probably the sunlight reflecting from something. But then I thought wait no this hasn't happened ever on this spot and there is nothing moving to be reflecting sunlight. So I realised some idiot was hiding somewhere using a laser on me, it did actually hurt my eye for a while once I got indoors. Friends have told me laser pens don't normally hurt so they think it might of been something else. Thinking about it the laser couldn't be from a pen as it was too large and also coming from a very long distance. Who knows but it wouldn't surprise me if someone in the neighbourhood actually brought a gun and were fooling around with it. The adults around here are like children, as it happened I looked down and saw a red dot on my chest, for a moment I felt like I was in a movie and about to be shot. Hope someone can figure out where it's coming from and make a complaint about it. I when out to visiting the specialist bulb shop as I wanted to get a light fixed in the kitchen before winter. It requires a long florescent bulb and the price of it went up by a lot compared to when I last checked. I guess their excuse would be all bulbs come from the Ukraine and Russia. Also the packaging was rubbish, but the good thing was like this you were likely to notice if the bulb was broken. I'm glad the place is close to my house as coming back from anywhere else the bulb would of most likely broke on the way. It was quiet out and if I did see anybody I tried to keep a good distance from them lol. When I got home I gave the kitchen and the area a good cleaning before placing the new bulb in, at first the light wasn't coming on which made me think perhaps it was not the bulb but the switch box that had a fault. But no eventually after moving the bulb around there was finally "light".
