Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 16/5/2022.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 5 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 16/5/2022.

The month of May I can't believe we are reaching now towards nearly the half way mark to yet another year, what makes this even harder to believe is how there's still a war going on in the streets of the Ukraine. It continues to be a sad moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall, they instead strike fear, call treats and casts sadness into the lives of many with this ongoing war.. a war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. As for crypto we can see Steem as been taking a big fall as bitcoins as been having a big down wave and with this it's most unfortune that it's taken the SBD's price down along with it. Hopefully SBD's can hold out but I don't see that happening unless Bitcoins gets some recovery going on, yet still seeing all the cheap Steem out there up for grabs definitely is catching my interest but like most times others have already beaten me to that $0.19 Steem lol. It will be interesting to see what happens next with BTC as it's hovering around the 30k mark.

With the sudden change in bitcoin the opportunity to gain a few extra steem's as became available, well maybe for some as since the price of Steem was up last month and if you saved a few of those SBD's then you should be able to gain a few more SP tokens. The weather in May is a little more stabilised compared to the previous month it started out with what seemed like a desert climate in the sense during the day it was warm but freezing at night. Now we are getting mix of Autumn and summer days. Today I was in work for the late morning shift, doing my usual again which I have been loving this consistency of doing the jobs I want. But being in for the late morning means I sometimes see some of the morning crew and today I couldn't believe my eyes as this elderly lady who I have known for years now finally made her return to work with us. It's been so long since I had seen her that I can't even remember if the last time I saw her was before covid or if I had seen her sometime between. She's unfortunately suffering from arthritis which is why I have I not seen her at work for ages.

We have had some network issue for probably about 3 weeks now and I can't believe it's taken my boss this long to do something about it he finally said he called someone to look over the situation, this was only because he was having issues but didn't bother when everybody else complained, still today when I started I was having some serious problems with it and only 30 mins in did it finally start working.

There was still talk going on after what happened yesterday which I found ridiculous but basically we saw two men running outside, one chasing the other, they were also shouting at each other. Apparently one of the men ordered a cab, the guy who ordered the cab got out without paying he's fair and made a run for it. The idiot decided he would try running and hiding in our build of all places but security quickly stopped them and threw them out. They started arguing outside and then started throwing punches at each other. This didn't go on for long as the public stopped them from fighting but what a stupid thing to start a fight for. Because firstly the guy shouldn't of tried to hide in our building and secondly the cab driver should of phoned the police first to deal with the man for not paying he's fees not chase him and then get into a brawl. I don't normally find such things funny but strangely in this instance I found the whole situation kind of funny, I mean who in their right mind get's up in the morning and says to themselves right I'm going to call a cab today but wont pay my fair, I'm going to try and leg it when he stops the car, if he does catch-up to me ill start throwing punches.. what are these people all on.

🏅 We reached "🐬🐬Super DOLPHIN🐬🐬" on February 2th which means our collective STEEM POWER is now over 💪30000 SP!! There are around 450 Super Dolphin accounts now which is less but expected and so I'm not sure if the number of Dolphin accounts grew since my journey from 25k to 30k. Still if the number of Dolphins is correct all these accounts together hold around 13mil Steem, but I hope to continue on collecting and locking even more STEEM! My goal 🌍 is to now reach 35.000 SP🏆, hopefully by the end of June 2022.
