Barriers to Steem success
Hi everybody, I’m looking at steem project from few days. I’m not a crypto currencies expert (even if I know them), so I’m just running some thoughts in my mind about the chances of growth of Steemit community.
In particular, what is the main reason why people join Steemit? I guess not just posting their thoughts, papers and pictures, cause they could do it in more popular social networks to get much more people.
The main reason is about the gain opportunity from their posts. But not standard dollars, rather Steem Dollars that are a new criptocurrency known only by criptocurrency enthusiasts… do you agree?
Then, how many bloggers usually write posts about all kind of categories (travel, food, photography, etc.) and at the same time are criptocurrency expert/enthusiast? In Italy (where I live) very few. In your Country? I guess the minority.
Eventually, will we really be able to crowd Steemit attracting people (not aware about criptocurrency) with steem dollars? Moreover such people nor are confident with wallets, and so on.
This is not a criticism, but a starting point … How is it possible to make Steemit attractive for not cryptocurrency enthusiasts?
Can we leverage other features of the platform to gather blogger from the majority?
Which is the best way to promote Steemit?
