Hello fellow steemians, Been 2 days since i joined this beautiful community and i already love it .
I'm happy to be here and in my personal opinion steemit is very different from all others social media,i can see Steemit as a leader and others social media like :Facebook , Reddit,Twitter etc , as a boss but first let's see together the

main differences between a leader and a boss:

and

Why choose Steemit?

  • a LEADER creates a environment where everyone has and equal shot at advancing their careers.
Here on steemit everybody has a chance , if you work on what you like you will get rewarded (even if not instantly) , that make the people that are in the community work together to reach their goals , everybody helps and sustain everybody without being jealous or whatsoever .

a BOSS demands a "win at all costs " attitude that leads to dishonesty&poor teamsmanship
Other social media don't promote the good quality posts and this make the people just beg for fame , everybody is doing everything to get some likes , just because if you have more likes you are more cool , without even carrying if what you are posting is what you really think/feel or is just something that the other people seeing your post would like to see .

  • a LEADER develops people
On Steemit people develop and improve themselves through experience , At first we are not all writer or all photographers but steemit promote what we are doing , if we like #philosophy (my friend @ciprianG)our post can be tagged as phylosophy and it will go in a section where other people interested in that argument will go to look for it ,so we can discuss with them , try to teach us where we are making mistakes and what can we do to improve ourselves more.If we like #photography (my friend @marius.olt) or whatever we like there is a special tag for that (if there is not you can simply create that )so other people looking for that kind of content will see it and help us grow.

a BOSS uses people

Facebook for example just use it's people to promote what they want to promote (mostly ignorance),The posts with the most likes are really bad but still get promoted because that is what the society today want .
When on Facebook you can not choose what to see (there are also interesting pages but most of them after getting some likes , just start using advertisement and posting what people would like to see because they are not getting any reward for what they are doing) you just found yourself in there scrolling and seeing all the crap posts .That's why i feel like the majority of the people are just used by the social medias to get specific ideas planted in the back of their head.

  • a LEADER gives credit
Every day 90% of the new Steem units are rewarded to the people who hold Steem Power Units.

10% of the new Steem units are paid to content creators, curators, and commenters.

When you create content that actually earns money, 50% is paid to you in Steem Dollar Units that can be exchanged for actual money right away (or converted into Steem Power). The other 50% is paid in Steem Power. The Steem Power Units are locked up for 2 years. source

a BOSS takes credit

Facebook and others social media platforms earns millions of dollars thanks to their users (from what they are posting , from all the advertisement in the site, from all the data's sent to big companies ), but they put all the money in their pockets and share nothing with the users even if the users are the one's actually making those money.

PROMOTE LEADERS NOT BOSSES.

Thanks

Great share! I haven't thought about it this way, but it's a really good metaphor.

Also, thank your for the mention, it really does fit me. Hahaha

Just a high quality post overall. UpVoted and Followed! <3

Thank you for your support and for #introducing me to this beautiful platform.

I have had the same thoughts from working in various jobs through the years. I used to work a the local USPS customer service phone center. They used to make the managers get on the phone one a week to take calls for an hour. They would freak out. How can you tell someone what to do if you have never done it yourself?

you are right @bluethread , that is true , you actually can't tell someone what to do if you have never done that , that is why we need leaders and not bosses , and that is why many things are going wrong in our world .Because everybody is an important piece in this game we call life. Also Thank you for taking your time to comment to my post

that is a good comparison!

thank you for taking your time to take a look at it ; )

people always expected such activities from a leader but none expected a boss.
keep in touch with upvote,bro.

thanks for reading and commenting bro !!see you around
