According to Danish police and Mashable, the scandal took place as follows; The two videos of the two children at the age of 15 and the images that were shown on display were shared on Facebook Messenger. Following the distribution of content hundreds of times, according to figures from Bloomberg, an investigation was launched about 800 men and 1004 people. Despite the age limit set for sexual intercourse in Denmark, the distribution of sexually explicit content by 15-year-olds worldwide has led the police to consider the incident as child pornography.

Detectives believe that one of the 1004 interviewed people is responsible for the withdrawal and dissemination of the video. Moreover, those who have been found guilty can be imprisoned for up to 2 years. North Zealand detective Lau Thygesen, who spoke to the press,
