When I started this month, I was confused too.
Then there are other tools to show you the number of posts / comments.
Definitely agree with your suggestions though! I guess it's a matter of time and we will soon see this... and many more new features. :)
Yes, I am excited to have found Steem and sincerely hope that the Platform continues to mature
